Camille Clinches Democratic Nomination, Looks Forward to November
In the hotly contested House District 22 race, Camille Ryckman locked out challenger Vince Chowdhury with 83% of the vote, positioning the first time candidate for a great run in the November Election. "It's been an exciting opportunity that I am glad to share with my neighbors and community members here tonight. I have worked hard to come this far." Camille said, "and I will continue to work hard through the election to be a voice at the state capitol for our community."
Ryckman received the backing of many leading Democrats during the primary and was proud to have Congressman Mark Udall, candidate for U.S. Senate as well as other local Democratic candidates share in her victory on Tuesday evening. She will now face Ken Summers in the general election where she intends to walk door-to-door meeting every voter of House District 22 face-to-face. Said Ryckman, "I will work harder than any other candidate you've met, and work smarter than any representative this district has ever had.
